These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Polymath AI Labs, Inc. ("Polymath," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website at polymathlabs.ai, our website at anthologyresearch.ai, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. If you apply to join the Anthology Fellows community, the sections headed Eligibility, Application and Interview Process, Interview Recording and License, Interview Integrity, and No Employment Relationship apply to you.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services or to apply to the Anthology Fellows community. By using the Services you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Use of Services
You may use our Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You must not misuse our Services, interfere with their operation, or attempt to access them using a method other than the interface and instructions we provide.
Accounts
If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, and to keep it updated. You may not register using another person's name or identity, share your credentials, or transfer your account without our prior written consent.
Application and Interview Process
Applying to the Anthology Fellows community may involve submitting a résumé and supporting information, completing written or technical assessments, verifying your identity, and participating in an interview conducted by an automated, AI-driven interviewer (an "Interview").
Interviews are audio only. We record audio. We do not record video and do not require camera access. Before an Interview begins, we will disclose that the session is being recorded and ask for your consent. Participation is voluntary and you may end the session at any time; if you do not consent to recording, we cannot conduct the Interview.
Submitting an application or completing an Interview creates no obligation on Polymath to admit you to the community, offer you work, or provide compensation. Polymath may accept or decline any applicant in its discretion, subject to applicable law.
Interview Recording and License
The audio recording of your Interview, the transcript generated from it, and any assessments, scores, or notes derived from it are together the "Interview Materials."
You grant Polymath a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to record, store, transcribe, analyze, and internally reproduce the Interview Materials for the purposes of evaluating your application, verifying your identity, preventing fraud, matching you to projects, complying with legal obligations, and improving our evaluation process using aggregated or de-identified data. This license lasts for the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy and terminates when the Interview Materials are deleted.
Polymath will not publish, broadcast, license, sell, or use the Interview Materials for marketing or promotional purposes, and will not use your voice recording or transcript to train artificial intelligence models.
You represent that statements you make during the Interview are true to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to make them, and that your participation does not violate any confidentiality obligation you owe to a third party or infringe any third-party rights. You agree not to disclose confidential information belonging to a current or former employer or client during an Interview.
Interview Integrity
To keep evaluations fair and meaningful, you agree that during an Interview or assessment you will not:
- Have another person take the Interview for you, assist you, or otherwise misrepresent your identity
- Use a large language model or other AI tool to generate, draft, or dictate your answers
- Use synthetic, pre-recorded, altered, or substituted audio
- Record, screenshot, or redistribute Interview questions or content, which are Polymath confidential information
Violation is grounds for rejecting your application, terminating your account, and ending any engagement.
No Employment Relationship
Applying, interviewing, or being admitted to the Anthology Fellows community does not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship. You have no authority to bind Polymath. If you are accepted, you will be required to execute a separate written contractor agreement before performing any work or receiving any payment. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, that agreement controls as to the conflict.
Intellectual Property
Our Services and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by Polymath and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our prior written consent.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit through our Services. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services. Interview Materials are governed by the "Interview Recording and License" section above rather than by this section.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Services
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Services
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, credentials, experience, or affiliation
- Submit content that infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, or discloses another party's confidential information
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polymath AI Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Services.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Polymath and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
You may terminate your account by contacting us. Termination does not by itself delete Interview Materials; deletion is governed by the retention periods and rights described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, license grants as scoped above, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
